The WiFi is “Vibration Theory” and the password is “thefunkyduck.”
The restroom is in the house. Don’t be shy to come in and use it. If there’s a session booked in the studio, whoever is in the house is expecting people to come in and use the restroom. Come through the back door. Walk through the kitchen and the bathroom will be on your right. You may be greeted with a little bark from Kora, but she is extremely sweet and will not hurt you!
No food or cigarette smoking in the studio. There are chairs outside for eating and smoking. Vapes and cannabis may be used in the studio, but excessive smoke is bad for audio equipment, so please be reasonable and considerate.
There is a fridge behind the desk, next to the couch. Help yourself to any beverages in there, or to make tea with the kettle. If you’re a frequent studio visitor, contributions are welcome!
Let me know about any spills and do your best to clean up right away.
We follow state park rules in the studio — if you bring something in, clothes, instruments, food, trash, etc, please take it out with you and do a quick “idiot check” before you leave. We have a lost and found bin, but it doubles as a "free shit" bin so reach out quickly if you may have left something.
Wear-and-tear happens. Broken drum heads and sticks for example, are just part of life.
If anything more substantial breaks, seems like it may be broken, or otherwise doesn’t work as expected, let me know right away. Accidents happen but you are responsible for any serious damage to equipment due to negligence.
There is a camera in the studio recording 24-7 and footage is uploaded in real-time. You consent to being recorded by entering the studio. That said, I do not monitor or review this footage unless something turns up broken or missing without explanation.
No unauthorized guests. Vibration Theory is part of my home, so just as you wouldn’t invite people over to someone's house without asking, please have the same respect for the studio space.
Last call for drums is at 9:30 PM out of respect for my neighbors.
